The hotel is conveniently close to LaGuardia airport, just a quick 15-minute drive away, and the rooms are clean, cozy, and offer comfortable beds with a unique view of the surroundings.

Location. It's really ugly specially for the price. Taxis won't even pick you up. Every time I tried to get a yellow cab it took me 30 min. Or when I went to Manhattan and tried to go to my hotel they would rwfuse to rake me cauae of thr location. Lots of old factories. Horrible and ugly location.

We booked a standard plus double room with a perfect view, a huge bed, and 2 double bedrooms. the hotel was located very well and was magnificent for us, close to a metro station. - This venue was in a really nice area.

Gorgeous and clean place, everything was nice. The room with comfortable bed. The staff were all very-very nice and provided outstanding service. The location in a vibrant area was marvellous and absolutely perfect and there were a supermarket and a convenience store nearby. I spent 3 nights here and greatly enjoyed that.

I had a complaint about my room and after three visits to the front desk the girl working was very helpful and apologetic. She offerred us a bigger room and was very helpful in our transition to the new room. Had to make two calls for problems and the service staff was there within minutes. Hotel was very clean and staff was very nice.

Our room and view were nothing like the pictures that were advertised. Booked this room through Booked.net and was told I would get a Manhattan Skyline view. Our room did not have a Manhattan view- we were put on other side of building. This room was very small and we were extremely disappointed (bathroom didn't even have much of a counter). We found out later that any room with two double beds (which we requested) did not have the skyline view. We had previously complained to two different hotel employees and were told they had nothing available - to check back in the morning. They didn't tell us that a two double bed room was not able to get the skyline view. Booked.net needs to do a better job of knowing what the available rooms have to offer. Maintenance 'kid' broke a light bulb while changing it (even though the problem was with the switch). These were the new mercury type bulbs and he wiped it up with his hands and there were a lot of pieces on the floor exposing us to the mercury which is quite dangerous. I don't think he had any idea that he shouldn't have touched the broken pieces. Also, bathtub faucet would not turn off and ran with a trikle all night long. Also, cable tv kept going out - we were told it was because of the rain. First hotel I've ever stayed had that had no drinking cups in the bathroom.

I found the staff really friendly and helpful. As I was in New York on business, the front desk where most helpful in ordering car service to take me to my various commitments around Long Island City and New York. The Shuttle driver's were most helpful in pointing me to shopping venues and restaurants around the hotel. When I booked the hotel I was advised that there was not restaurant in the hotel, so it was a very pleasant surprise to have Mia Famiglia in the hotel. It was convenient not to have to leave the hotel to go and find somewhere for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was good and very reasonably priced.

I checked into the hotel on the 16th of October and checked out the morning of the 20th of October and on the Thursday and Friday returned back to my hotel room late in the afternoon to find that my room had not yet been serviced. This was inconvenient as I had to vacate the room each time they wanted to clean the room. When the hotel caters for a wedding function, it would be prudent for the hotel to let the guest know that they do not have the hotel to themselves and that they need to respect the other guests in the hotel.

The location was wonderful, close to many attractions and the Vernon BLVD street with dining options. It's conveniently located near the nearest metro/train station. - It is at a moderate distance from Blend on the Water, where I dined once or twice.

Good price cheaper from the hotels in manhattan, clean comfortable room. Nice bathroom, brand new hotel.

Hotel is at Long Island. Eventhough it' s only 2 stops from Times Square i think it's better to stay in Manhattan because it' s much easier to get back to your room whenever you want. Do not underestimate the time you need for transportation at New York. Especially if you want to go shopping or stay late at night, stay at Manhattan. The Location of the hotel is Poor.Not many things to do around. The Metro station is 0,6 Km from the hotel.

Great-sized and contemporary room with exceptionally comfortable bed and safe for safety measures. Warm options for breakfast.

The breakfast was nice and hot with a vending machine and ready-made products, and the facilities were clean; the location was excellent - just a few steps away from everywhere we wanted to go. Rewritten: the breakfast here was delicious and came with a vending machine and ready-made items, the place was very clean, and its location was superb, being just a stone's throw away from all our desired spots.

Location and neighbourhood

Staff does not seem to have any horeca training and attitude. Replace them all.
